Biography

Suting Hong is an assistant professor at ShanghaiTech University, since August. 2016. Professor Hong received her Ph.D. in economics from Drexel University and Bachelor in Economics (Major in Finance) from Nanjing University.

Research Interests

Dr. Hong’s current research centers around innovation-oriented entrepreneurship. By conducting theoretical and empirical analysis, she seeks to understand how high-tech start-ups grow and the roles of various market forces/policy instruments in the process.
