王素博士毕业于伦敦政治经济学院金融系。硕士就读于英属哥伦比亚大学商学院，本科毕业于西南财经大学。在加入上海科技大学创业管理学院之前，她于阿姆斯特丹大学商学院金融系任助理教授。她的研究论文获得semi-finalist FMA Conference Best Paper Award（2020年和2022年）

王素教授主要的研究方向包括公司金融，创业创新，中小企业，金融科技和制度研究。
