1. Program Goals and Learning Outcomes
Program Goals:
The Program goal is to serve students with a range of career objectives: (1) those who want to take on major challenges and responsibilities in management; (2) those who interested in balancing a science and business backgrounds with depth in understanding business analysis and operational management expertise.
Students will have the opportunity to develop a background that will make them well suited to management and leadership positions in science and technology institutions and corporations.
The Learning Outcomes:
1) Explore human’s pursue for quality and how advancements in technology lead to standardized systematic approaches for assuring quality in modern life
2) Explore the organizational processes and quality management elements for assuring laboratory competence
3) Develop a sound knowledge and skill set for the issues of managing the internal processes of corporations and considerations of strategic advantage
4) Provide the leading edge of theory and practice associated with operational management, marketing, human resources, and business analysis
