Speaker Biography:

James Liang is one of the Co-founders and Executive Chairman of the Board of Ctrip.com International, Ltd.Ctrip is not only the leader in China’s online travel space, but also one of the world’s largest online travel agencies. In addition to his deep knowledge of the travel industry, James is also a leading expert in China’s demographic and social studies.He has played an important role in shaping China’s population policies in recent years and generating public interest in issues such as education and urban planning. He received a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University in 2011 and received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Georgia Institute of Technology. He also attended the “China Gifted Youth Class” at Fudan University.
