Biography

Xiaoyu Zhou is a tenured associate professor and principal investigator at the School of Entrepreneurship and Management, ShanghaiTech University. He earned his Ph.D. in business administration from Peking University in 2014 and a Bachelor’s degree in management from Sun Yat-sen University in 2009.


Research Interests

Dr. Zhou’s research interests focus on strategic management, corporate ESG, and the impact of big-science infrastructure. His research works have been published in leading academic journals, such as Science, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of Business Ethics, World Development, etc.

His new book, “Evaluating Big-Science Infrastructures: Case of Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility,” has been published by Xinhua Publishing House in 2021.
