Biography

Wei Si holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Stockholm University in Sweden and is currently an Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator at the School of Entrepreneurship and Management at ShanghaiTech University. Her primary research areas include labor economics, economics of science, and development economics. Her work has been published in international academic journals such as the Journal of Population Economics and Health Economics. She has led research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program. Additionally, she serves as a peer reviewer for top-tier academic journals both domestically and internationally. She has received numerous awards, including Outstanding Professor of the Year, Best College Professor, Service Excellence Award, and Outstanding Social Practice Advisor at ShanghaiTech University.
